About Julia Humphrey
Julia is a Senior News and Resource writer for Collider who graduated from Hofstra University in 2018 with a BA in Film Studies and Production. Since joining the Collider team in 2022, Julia enjoys writing anything related to What We Do in the Shadows, Our Flag Means Death, Abbott Elementary, and even the epic highs and lows of Riverdale — among other topics.
Julia also writes for Nerds & Beyond, where you can find most of their book-related coverage including reviews and interviews with authors. Their more recent interviews include K.X Song, Ellie Marney, and Kalynn Bayron. Beyond books, one of their favorite interviews was with Harlem director Shea William Vanderpoort.
When Julia isn't writing, chances are they're doting over their two ferrets, spending too many hours playing Stardew Valley, or catching up on TV. Some of their favorite shows include Hannibal, Dexter, The Owl House, Cobra Kai, and Bob's Burgers. Their other interests include cosplaying, listening to Circa Survive on repeat, and learning to draw.
