Back in the mid-2000s, Walt Disney Animation Studios seemed committed to 'Fraidy Cat,' a movie that would never see the light of day.

The film Fraidy Cat was a proposed project at Walt Disney Animation Studios, centered around a cat named Oscar who is wrongfully accused of eating a parrot and must prove his innocence.
The project was helmed by director Piet Kroon, who came up with the idea while working at the studio. It was eventually taken over by Disney heavyweights Ron Clements and John Musker.
Despite good initial progress and public confidence in the project, Fraidy Cat was shelved due to concerns over marketability and homage to Alfred Hitchcock. The project's demise reflects the bleak era Disney Animation was experiencing at the time.
